Bobby Axelrod from Billions has more money and power than most of us could imagine, and it's not just because he's a good investor. Bobby is a brilliant negotiator, capable of getting people to give him almost anything he wants.
In this video, we're going to cover 5 tactics Bobby uses in almost every negotiation, and how you can use them to negotiate better, whether it's at work, in your romantic relationships or with friends.

0:27 - #1: Nail down what people need before negotiating.
2:45 - #2: He will use his body language to manipulate other people's emotions (don't do this in your own life).
4:47 - #3: He uses an exploding offer to create panic in the other person (don't do this in your own life).
6:00 - #4: Always be willing to walk away from the table.
7:44 - #5: Point.

  • Actually trading was not easy for me. Lost a lot of money through + 500, FBS also lost a lot of money to trading assistants and copy trader's, almost gave up on forex / Bitcoin trading. but a friend of mine introduced me to a good broker, at first i thought it was another way of wasting my hard earned savings. But my greatest surprise was my investment of $ 3,000 came out with $ 6,580 in 10 days trading ..... You just have to be patient with them till your trades are completed ..... To be honest I didn't just recovered all my previous losses .. I made much more than my past expenses .. actually she charges 15% which won't affect you in any way since her trading efficiency comes in multiples of investment ... I personally recommend Mrs Caroline trading services for best copy trading always trade with them and stop loosing your money .... reach out to her and believe me a trial will convince you Here's her contact details⬇️⬇️⬇️ +12292127969 @WhatsApp

  • I studied negotiation in uni and one of the point, take it or leave it, is not a good point. It’s in fact one of the most avoided strategy in negotiation. The take it or leave it should only be used when you have evaluated your BATNA (best alternative negotiated agreement) and know that you can walk away safely because you have a backup plan with other negotiator. Conversely, making negotiation longer and bringing in more issues into the negotiation table is better.

  • I wish I was like Axelrod. But in reality, I am far from this person's life and mental state. I cry out for help, but no one hears me. Everyone says there is help out there, but I get turned away. I suppose Covid is more important than my problems, which surpasses the time Covid has been around. I wish everyone much love and hope. I am not wanted anymore.

  • Interesting, but realistically, just have the POWER. The power to walk away from any negotiation. It's really that simple. In other words, the outcome of future negotiations can be produced TODAY. What are you doing today, and every day, to build your power? Whatever power you have, make sure early that the other person knows it. Then propose a win-win agreement. It's REALLY that simple.

  • This video was interesting and felt informed spite using fictional events and characters to extrapolate confirmation of your/the theories explained by narration. To avoid losing credibility completely I would seriously recommend adding real life examples as well, referring to a third source as informative gives the illution of being informed and sourced thoroughly though it isn't as far as stand-alone proof of concept goes.

  • There is absolutely nothing to negotiate. You live in a program of mindless creatures. There is no negotiating with a computer. Human drones that are completely and utterly mindless. Souless creatures. Nothing to create nothing to negotiate. Nothing. All fabricated production, consumption, etc. All of it. Mindless drivers. All these lessons work in a world where people have independent thought and decision making processes. Since that doesnt exist and no real work exists. There is nothing to create or do.

  • In Transactional Analysis, this time bomb approach is a "Critical Parent" to "Compliant Child" transaction. They say yes because they're afraid. Problem is if they catch "rebellious child" ("Screw you, I'm not going to do it!"), it will blow up in their face. Likewise, if someone has a strong Adult, they'll know they're being played and they will know they're worth more than that, and won't do business with people who manipulate them, this sounds like, "Thank you for the opportunity, it looks like we're not a fit!" Even if the negotiator hooks the compliant child, the person will most likely agree then do whatever they want after, the results will be minimal. It won't be a good deal... All sales must come from nurturing parent and hook the natural child.

My point is that the personality of Don and Bobby are somewhat similar and for them to be enemies or partners (even tho I know it's unlikely they would meet because they work on different things) is just thrilling

  • This is an awesome video the only nitpick comment would be when Chuck "switched the terms" of the settlement with Bobby. He did that knowing that Bobby would blow up and leave the room. In the scene before his right hand man Bryan was mad at Chuck saying you only go for the easy wins and never go after the big ones. So once Chuck started to get onto Bobby as the camera pulls back you see Bryan grinning. It basically set up the other half of the first season. I mean a settlement with 6 episodes left would lead to a pretty boring ending.
